Here are two original 1992 Bally Addams Family playfields.  Both playfields were stamped with a date from 1992.  Since Bally produced over 20,000 games they used several different companies to make playfields.  They were made by Sun Process (SP), Thomas A Grant (TAG) and Lenc-Smith (LS).  All three companies used either different shades of colors or sometimes even changed the colors (like from purple to blue).  It was also common for a playfield to be made by LS and then sent to SP to have it clear coated.  The playfield on the left was made by Sun Process or sometimes called SP.  The playfield on the right was made by LS (Lenc-Smith).  In 1994 Bally re-ran Addams Family pinball machines and made a special ‘Gold’ Collectors Edition version.  The 1994 (TAFG) playfields were all made by Sun Process.  The 1994 playfields were all clear coated (Diamond Plate) but clear coating was common place in 1994 so the ‘Diamond Plate’ logo is not on the 1994 and newer playfields.
